[Malfunctioning Lights] UP 1527 Folsom Turn Local, E St. Railroad Crossing, West Sacramento CA

[Filmed 8:02pm May 3, 2021] Trimmed the video a little just to keep the scene of the train coming down and off the Martinez Sub while bunch of trees were removed on the left side since I last filmed this crossing active now making it easy to see trains on the Martinez Sub from this angle. I came out specifically to get this train since I found out the Folsom Turn works on Mondays after 7:30pm on this line so I can get this crossing active with its new Siemens Mechanism on the right signal replacing the old WABCO AL-70 Triangular Counterweight Mechanism after it wouldn't properly functioning anymore. Unfortunately the crossings relay flashers either malfunctioning or are now broken as one light stays on on both signals without flashing. The right signal lights flash on one side. The right side gate doesn't really lower properly also. This crossing is an mixed install with the left signal being an Sacramento - Yolo Port District Belt Railroad (Yolo Shortline) 1970s install with changes to its Bell. The right signal is an Sacramento - Yolo Port District Belt Railroad (Yolo Shortline) 1960s install with changes to its bell, lights, mechanism, and counterweight arms. I always assumed that this crossing is an ex-SPRR install until I looked it up on the FRA site inventory.

Union Pacific Railroad LRR62 Folsom Turn Local freight train passes through the E Street railroad crossing on the UPRR to SERA connection track in West Sacramento, California. The locomotive had an interesting sounding bell also.
