Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater (Part 6) | Caves, The Pain and Early End

Ah yes, another glorious chapter of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Neil’s Snake-Eater Nonsense, featuring Damian—equal parts guide, spectator, and therapist.

This time, Neil takes Snake spelunking through miles of damp, echoing caves, bravely cutting most of it out because—let’s face it—no one wants to watch twenty minutes of torch fumbling and snake attacks. Somewhere in the darkness, he actually finds some useful gear for later—miracles do happen.

Then comes “The Pain”—a boss who thinks hornets are a fashion statement. Neil demolishes him so fast even Damian stops chewing his snack mid-bite, impressed that competence has finally entered the chat. The duo then encounters flying enemies on futuristic hovercrafts, because apparently 1960s Russia was secretly auditioning for Star Wars.

As if things couldn’t get weirder, Ocelot decides it’s a great time for some Russian roulette while poor Sokolov… well, springs a leak in fear. Neil, ever the chaos magnet, fails miserably at ending “The End” early, but through sheer stubbornness (and maybe divine pity), he eventually triumphs.
