Houthis Vow To Retaliate After Deadly US Airstrikes | Subscribe to Firstpost | N18G

Houthis have vowed to continue their military operations against the US and Israel, claiming that "Yemen will not back down from continuing its support operations for the Palestinian people". Houthis warned that the US aggression would lead to further engagement. The remarks came after the deadly US airstrikes in Yemen's Ras Isa oil port killed at least 74 and injured 171. The US Central Command (CENTCOM) said that the strikes were aimed at cutting off the fuel and revenue sources of Houthis. The attack marked one of the deadliest strikes on Yemen. In response, Iran-backed Houthis claimed to have targeted two US aircraft carriers and Israel. The US has been striking Houthi targets since mid-March after Donald Trump ordered the use of “overwhelming force” to stop Houthis from targeting shipping in the Red Sea.
