Change a mold: tutorial for quick injection mold installation

This video will teach you how to change a mold in an injection molding machine.

It shows the safe and correct method to hang and install a tool into a tie-bar-less injection molding machine. The video can be used as a guideline and training tool for your staff and ensures repeatability and ideal molding practices.

With correct mold installation, wear would be reduced on leader pins, interlocks and internal components.
While flash from normal wear and the type of plastic material cannot be avoided, it can be greatly reduced from proper alignment and proper mounting of the mold.
