The conflict originated from the “Uyire – Shaan Rahman Live in Concert” event held on January 25, 2025, in Kochi, organized by Shaan’s Eternal Ray Productions and managed by Niju’s Arora Entertainment. Niju filed a fraud case against Shaan and his wife, Zaira Shaan, at Ernakulam South Police Station, alleging that Shaan failed to pay him ₹38 lakh for event production despite collecting over ₹38 lakh in ticket sales.
