Clearing Tier 2 is finally done! 🌿🔥
After 7 days of hard work in sweltering heat (temps in the high 30s), the two of us managed to cut down all the long grass and remove a huge amount of olive pruning in preparation for fire season, which officially starts in August.
This was a massive job, but keeping our property safe from wildfires is a top priority. Living off-grid means we have to stay on top of bushfire prevention, and fuel reduction around the property is essential.
