Arduino Made Easy(er) The Welding Sketch - Lesson 08

In this Arduino Made Easy we cover the welding sketch, easy steps to create the sketch used for our welding project. In a previous video, we showed you how we produced a mini scene with building lights and an arc welder flashing. This lesson covers the sketch for that project so everyone can learn how to create a welding scene on their model railroad.

Again we use an IR sensor to start everything in motion in our sketch. Using the random number generator we are able to flash 3 different LED's to simulate the flash of the weld and the glow of the metal thereafter. In our original project, we did not use the sensor but will add more features to the original sketch when we perfect a few more procedures for the original sketch. At that time we will add the sensor to start the process on our model railroad.

We recently found a sound module that we are testing and will be using in some future episodes on the layout and in Arduino Made Easy.

We also have additional footage coming out shortly of all the issues involved in compiling sketches with several mistakes; as in this video where I spent nearly 15 minutes with spelling errors and upload issues.
