Join us on a scenic extravaganza, 13 km from Banff this hike takes you through forests & creeks, passes lakes & meadows and has gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains including the awe inspiring Mount Assiniboine towering over the rest of the peaks.
Bourgeau Lake is 7 km from the trailhead with Harvey Pass 11 km but it is well worth the extra effort to reach Harvey Pass which is where you get the mountain peak views.
The hike, out and back to Harvey Pass should take 7 - 10 hrs with an elevation gain of 1000 m
