Having made a reputation for himself as a bit of a daredevil, the late John Noakes continued to risk life and limb in this series. This edition saw him join the famous aerial stunt team the Red Arrows, sitting in on their debriefing and taking part in a simulated flying lesson. He's also a passenger in a practice display before helping the groundcrew prepare for a big show.
