Is Lego being outdone by FunWhole (LumiBricks)? (Not Sponsored)

Lego is a company I will always love, but I can't help but feel disappointed in recent years. I've continued to build with Lego and order parts from Bricklink but it is very rare for me to buy new sets for many reasons. FunWhole and a few other alternate companies have really gotten me excited about buying brick building sets again, in some ways providing better value / quality than the "leading brand".
