4.2.19 | by Adam Balhetchet | BAY RIDGE, Brooklyn (LoudlabsNYC) - Two officers were hurt in an accident. It happened around 4:30 pm Tuesday, at 86 St & 4th Ave, within the confines of the 68 Precinct. That is where a marked police car and a Mercedes SUV collided. According to the Mercedes driver, he was driving through a green light when he was struck by the marked police car. It's possible the marked police car was on an emergency to a gun run at 92nd St & 4th Ave where police received a 911 call in regards to a person with a firearm. Officers were treated for minor injuries, one of them with a head injury.
