Scotrail Class 47712 & DBSO 9707 Cumbrian Mountain Anniversery

Welcome to another rail content video, today I'm aboard a Scotrail Livery Class 47, 47712 along with DBSO 9707 and 5 Mark 3 Carriages starting at Crewe for a day trip out along the West Coast mainline to Carlisle and then later going along the Settle & Carlisle line on the loop round back to Crewe later that day. The train stopped at Warrington Bank Quay & Wigan North Western to pick up and drop off passengers along the way. I was sat in the DBSO coach 9707 for the journey. Absolutley wonderful to have been on this tour and good to see these rolling stocks being preserved for tours and for many people to see these back on British rail again, 47712 was doing all the push today even when they turned the set around at Crewe, so mainly apart from moving using the locomotive to turn around, mainly it was operated by the DBSO. This tour was planned on Bank Holiday Monday where standard ticket was selling at £50. All tickets were sold out for today's trip and was really glad to have travelled up to and from Cornwall overnight to have been able to be part of this tour and amazing views along the journey.
