Join us on our September 2025 trip from Orlando to Palm Springs, California! ✈️ We kick things off at Orlando International Airport, fly across the country with a short layover in Dallas, and finally land in sunny Southern California. Along the way, we share the ups and downs of a long travel day, from breakfast at the airport and quick meals on the go to navigating gates and boarding.
The highlight of this trip? Surprising my aunt for her 65th birthday while staying at the WorldMark Indio resort. We pick up our rental car, grab some Del Taco, and check into our timeshare with an amazing balcony view. It’s been a full day of flying, food, and fun—and the California heat definitely hit us!
