(Missed Activation) Bellingrath Road Railroad Crossing, Theodore, AL

The day after I got sunburned, I made my way to the Bellingrath Road crossing to catch this CSX freight train. While waiting for it to pass by, I had a Pepsi that I got from the bowling alley. Once I heard the train blowing the horn for Cary Hamilton Road, I took my sunglasses off, put my ear protectors on and got outta the car to record it passing through, but I missed the crossing activation and got the GS Type 1 ringing on camera when the gates were halfway down. I was finally able to confirm the right light on my side, it was a Leotek EV Series LED while the left one is still a WCH 2nd Gen LED, meaning that crossing signal has a mixture of WCH 2nd Gen LEDs and Leotek EV Series LEDs. I’ll eventually return to this crossing in a few weeks for a better video.

As you can apparently see, the GS Type 2 here is still dead. I just don’t know why CSX won’t fix or replace it, it’s been dead since sometime before or during 2024. The GS Type 1 also continues ringing for a second after the gates are down.

Gated signal on the other side: Dead GS Type 2 E-bell, 2 pairs of Leotek EV Series LEDs inside Safetran 12x24 inch Light Frames, Safetran Bracket, NEG LED Gate Lights, Safetran Gate Mechanism and Safetran Signal Base.

Note: I misread the number on the locomotive from the front of the train, it was 807, not 80. 80 would be on an AC4400CW.
