San Juan de Ulúa es una isla fortificada y sistema defensivo de la época novohispana del siglo XVI, situada en la ciudad de Veracruz, Estado de Veracruz, México. Se trata de una fortificación de estilo italiano, el cual, tras su uso defensivo como puerto de Veracruz, el principal del virreinato de Nueva España, fue empleada en el siglo XIX como prisión y astillero, y desde finales del siglo XX funciona como museo del Fuerte San Juan de Ulúa, del Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia.

San Juan de Ulua is a fortified island and defensive system dating back to the New Spain era of the 16th century, located in the city of Veracruz, Veracruz State, Mexico. This Italian-style fortification, after its defensive use as the port of Veracruz, the main port of the Viceroyalty of New Spain, was used as a prison and shipyard in the 19th century. Since the late 20th century, it has served as the museum of Fort San Juan de Ulua, of the National Institute of Anthropology and History.
