Devil's staircase is met during a hike from Ohiya to Kalupahana. Trial is 20km long and you can see the Bambarakanda Falls during the trek. Devil’s Staircase road is the most hardest, dangerous yet one of the most scenic roads in Sri Lanka.
" Started off by around Midnight on Friday to reach Ohiya by dawn the following day. Sure, the pictures look amazing and reviews call it one of the most scenic trails in Sri Lanka but actually getting to a spot with a view as this was no easy feat.
But don't be put off by the steep climbs that may even question you why you voluntarily torture yourself when you could be lazily sitting around at home.
An hour or two into the hike, beautiful views will surround you. Mountains will almost look alive,everywhere you set your eyes on.
18.9 km later here I am with my feet a little numb but very content with my weekend adventures."
