Raidou Remastered - 5 - Episode 4: The Case of the Missing Shipment (Truth Seeker)

As Narumi's investigation doesn't lead anywhere yet, the owner of Konnou-ya visits to share his woes and a job. Some shipments for his shop keep disappearing, literally, along with sailors keeping watch, that's the kind of special case that the Narumi Detective Agency is for! And since our destination is Harumi-cho, the port with a big foreigner presence, we may find information on Rasputin too!

We get a Case File involving weapon smithing, which I've already done, so I go show it while taking a walk around the city before going to our destination.

After exploring the new district and purging its Aril Rifts, we discuss the case with the Ryugu Owner who has no leads on Rasputin but informs us some more about the disappearing shipments. As we return to Narumi, he lets us know Rasputin won't be found through legal means and suggest talking to Satake for that, so we're off to Fukagawa-cho!

But before visiting the bathhouse, we swing by the Empty Lot where a demon is willing to talk and join us... after a test! Hayataro mainly uses Elec (With some Fire) and is weak to Force. After our victory, we unlock him for fusion, but only after reaching level 34, that'll be for later.

Then we can go talk to Satake who mentions a merchant called Elfman has basically taken control of business in Harumi-cho. The Ryugu Owner is our best bet for more information but as we get there, we learn the new shipment has also disappeared! That's our cue to enter the Dark Realm!

We'll have to rescue some sailors there, they're attacked by groups of Anzu (Weak to Elec), you'll need a demon with the Cool Down ability to progress too, so make sure to grab one, having the ability to Read Mind will also let you get extra rewards from the rescued sailors.

After they're all saved, you'll be able to find a little present from Rasputin, the demon Triglav to face in battle! Two of them, even! They resist Phys and are immune to Gun, but are weak to Force so make use of that to take them down, they only have Phys attacks, but they hit decently hard. They don't have a lot of HP though.

With them out of the way, the sailors can return to the real world, and so can we, before talking to the Ryugu Owner though, we can complete another Case File by talking to a Sweaty Foreign Merchant in the real world, defeating the Hiruko (Weak to Ice) in the same spot in the Dark World, and then returning to the real merchant.

With that issue solved, the Ryugu Owner will tell us more about Elfman and how much he changed, cutting ties with the people he knew, and she gives us a Ring of Memories to show the man.
But he's at a Catholic church that can only be accessed through water, and we can't take a boat... thankfully the Big Tarrasque may be able to help!

Head to the Daidouji Basement and he'll want to negotiate his services. Give him 100, 300, and 500 yen, but when he asks for 1,000, that's your cue to refuse and then "Scold it". He'll then give you the Flute of Rhone you can use to summon him and travel over water on the map, not just to progress the plot but also for more treasure!

We also get two new Case Files, one of them asking us to find the Training Hall - East, where you'll need to send a solo demon to fight some undead, having Fire skills would help, being able to heal is also a plus.

Another Case File involves finding a peeping tom on Fukagawa-cho, in an area you'll need to access through water. You'll need a demon with the Allure skill to get the Oni to reveal his true form and attack you with a lot of them! They're all weak to Elec and after defeating the horde, the case will be closed.

After clearing all four of Narumi's requests, we can play Mahjong with him and/or demons. I don't know how to play Mahjong and never will.

After that, we can go back to Harumi-cho where the voice directs us to a cemetary near the church... and we meet the spirit of the true Elfman who was assassinated and impersonated.
Head to the Catholic church next to meet the impersonator, Rasputin, who talks about a Super Soldier Project, and this time he's not running!

Rasputin is a tricky opponent, summoning Matryoshkas and hiding in one of them, he'll periodically summon more as well and they can Seal your skills, so bring Anti-Mutes to counter that. Rasputin himself is weak to Elec and immune to Gun. As he gets lower on HP he'll use Megido (Run away) and later try to send a Reaper to paralyze you (Avoid it).

His defeat ends the episode!
