Running a lap around Vatican City is a truly unique experience—after all, how often can you say you ran around an entire country in a single workout?
While it is the smallest nation in the world, the run itself isn't exactly easy, requiring you to navigate the perimeter walls and the massive crowds that flock to St. Peter’s Square.
The absolute highlight of this run was an unexpected and incredible sighting of the Pope! The atmosphere was electric, filled with thousands of pilgrims who had traveled from all over just to catch a glimpse of him. Navigating through that sea of people was a challenge, but the energy of the crowd and the sheer excitement of the moment made it all worth it. It was a short, intense, and unforgettable loop around the Holy See.
