45 Min Bike Ride Cochrans Crossing Dr Loop Bike Trail in The Woodlands TX

45 Minute Bike Ride (7.6 miles) starting from Cochrans Crossing Shopping Center in The Woodlands, TX. –
This ride I call the “Cochrans Crossing Loop” follow Research Dr to Cochrans Crossing Dr and then 4 miles on Cochrans Crossing Dr to Lake Woodlands Dr over to Gosling Road and then back to the origin point. You stay on paved Hike & Bike trails next to major roadways the entire way, but you also remain in the shade under a canopy of woods almost the entire ride. There is very little elevation gain so the ride is easy but a little long. Be extra careful when crossing roadways and obey the pedestrian traffic lights. Even then, be sure to yield to cars since not everyone in cars pays attention to the pedestrian cross lights.
The total distance is 7 and a half miles and takes about 45 minutes – riding speed between 8 and 9 mph. You will be next to or very close to numerous parks plus you will get multiple views of the Palmer Course – one of the several Woodlands Country Club Golf Courses..
I plan to explore more of the Bike Trails in The Woodlands and then post them along with locations. If you live in The Woodlands and have a suggestion for a moderate (20-45 minute) ride, please leave your comments. It will be interesting to explore The Woodlands Bike Trails as I get time. As of this writing, there are 220 miles of paved multi use paths.
