Parnera Hill is situated in Parnera town of Valsad district. It is located around 6 Km from Valsad city. The height of the hill from the ground is around 500 ft. It has two entries one from Atul and one from Parnera.

According to information, a Hindu king had made a fort on the hill. Upon inspection of the Fort's relics and structure use of skillful engineering methods of that time may be seen. The fort was under Dharampur state (called Ram Nagar state at that time) during the 15th century.

Tadkeshwar Mahadev Mandir in Valsad is a well-known temple and is especially famed for the different kinds of Shivlinga it houses. This temple is identified as the Tadkeshwar Mandir as this temple has no roof and sunlight constantly touches the Shivling.
It is a renowned temple in the town of Valsad, the Tadkeshwar Mahadev Temple is famous for the Various types of Shivling. Since there is no ceiling and the sun shines over the Shivlings continuously, the name 'Tadkeshwar' is given to the temple (where tadko-is sunlight Gujarat language). It's called Tadkeshwar because there is no roof and heard that constant sunlight should touch the Shivling.
