Well folks, today we got busy learning how to play the tune Feliz Navidad by the inimitable Jose Feliciano. It was released in 1970, and has been covered countless times. This song was written in the key of D; I arranged it in the key of C for ease of play on your ukulele.
Skills we look at in this lesson: adding slides, trying out tapping the soundboard, alternating between picking and strumming. We also use chords that have a slightly different fingering as shown here, with numbers indicating frets from the 4th to the 1st string:
F: 2013 C5: 0033 G7(aka "G7 with the splits"): 0535
These chords can add a bit more colour than the standard shapes...I encourage you to try them in other songs
