This video introduces Shimadzu’s new i-PDeA program to deconvolute co-eluting peaks using a PDA detector and LabSolutions software. i-PDeA allows the user to identify and quantitate multiple co-eluting peaks that exhibit different UV spectra. In addition, it is often able to provide quantitative information about trace impurities that may be co-eluting with a larger peak of interest. The i-PDeA program is available with LabSolutions LCGC v. 5.90 and later.
