Calhoun’s defense stifled the highest-scoring team in state history, limiting Washington County to just three second-half points as the unbeaten Rebels held on for a 27-20 victory. Kaelen Riley contributed a passing and rushing touchdown, while the game-winner came on a 41-yard double-reverse pass from Baylon Spector to Carson Brown that broke a 20-20 deadlock. The win marked Calhoun’s second state title in four years and third overall. Washington County QB and Georgia Tech commit A.J. Gray totaled 293 yards but was eventually contained by Calhoun’s defense.
