Battery Energy Storage System Powers Tower Cranes on Data Centre Construction Project

Construction company Kapitol Group adopted two of our construction-ready BESS units as a diesel-free solution to power tower cranes on-site during on a data centre construction project in Victoria.

These battery energy storage systems acts as a drop-in solution to either supplement or completely replace diesel generators on construction sites. They can power any type of heavy electrical equipment, but is particularly well suited to powering high-power equipment with intermittent loads, like tower cranes.

Using lithium-ion battery technology, they have a 70-90% lower carbon footprint and produces 30x less noise than a diesel generator.
