In honor of the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots and World Pride in NYC in 2019, we are celebrating the "Road to Stonewall". Every week we celebrate a different gay icon, and this week we discuss our first icon that isn't a person. Will & Grace brought LGBTQ+ people into the living rooms of a nation and of the world, and helped many people relate to members of our community. Having characters that people cared about be gay brought realization to many that gay people were people too.
