Western Maryland 1309: Winter Steam in the Alleghenies (4K)

On Jan 3rd & 4th, 2026, We made our first adventure of the year to Cumberland, Maryland to the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad. It has been since February 2023 since we visited the railroad to see the 1309. Some snow was still left between Helmstetters and Frostburg which made for some nice shots with the locomotive. Including some new shots I haven't done at WMSR. 1309 featured one of the longbell 3 chime whistles that Western Maryland 734 wore when the engine ran years ago. Now, enjoy as we watch 1309 climb the mountain to Frostburg. Enjoy!
