Joscho Stephan Trío & Costel Nitescu JAZZ SAN JAVIER 2025

El fantástico guitarrista alemán Joscho Stephan, con raíces en el “jazz manouche” o “gypsy swing” es no solo un gran especialista en intepretar los temas clásicos de este estilo, sino en reinterpretar temas del rock, la música pop o la clásica, llevándolos al jazz manouche de forma brillantísima.

De su capacidad para emocionar y asombrar al público con su espectacular arte a la guitarra y su virtuosismo, dejó buen testimonio en Jazz San Javier en 2022 con un concierto magnífico.

En esta ocasión, junto a su trío, viene acompañado por el gran violinista rumano Constantin “Costel” Nitescu. Conocido y admirado en Jazz San Javier por sus anteriores visitas, Costel tiene una sólida formación clásica y una gran querencia por el jazz manouche, del que es un excelso representante, en la estela de su ídolo, el legendario violinista francés Stéphane Grappelli.

The fantastic German guitarist Joscho Stephan, deeply rooted in "jazz manouche" or "gypsy swing", is not only a master at performing the classic pieces of this style but also an expert at reinterpreting rock, pop, and classical music, seamlessly bringing them into the world of jazz manouche with brilliant artistry.

His ability to move and astonish audiences with his spectacular guitar playing and virtuosity was evident in his magnificent 2022 concert at Jazz San Javier.

This time, alongside his trio, he will be joined by the great Romanian violinist Constantin "Costel" Nitescu. A familiar and admired presence at Jazz San Javier, Costel has a strong classical background and a deep passion for jazz manouche, where he excels as a worthy successor to his idol, the legendary French violinist Stéphane Grappelli.
