In 1859 Mississippi, wealthy plantation owner Thaddeus Aldridge puzzled locals with his twelve wives - all with identical faces. Each bride, aged nineteen with auburn hair and green eyes, vanished exactly six months after her wedding. No bodies were ever found, no funerals were held, yet Aldridge always returned with another identical bride. When a curious doctor glimpses the current Mrs. Aldridge desperately staring from a high window, he uncovers a scientific abomination lurking behind Aldridge Manor's grand façade. Some secrets are better left buried.
