Habelman Bros. Company, a cranberry farm, has been family-owned and operated since 1907 and is now the largest fresh cranberry producer in the world. Located in Tomah, Wis., this fourth-generation business has cranberry bogs covering 700 acres with a short harvest season that the Hyundai HW160A wheeled excavator helps keep on track.
The power and the reach of the Hyundai HW160A allow Habelman to keep the machine on solid ground, while picking up boats of cranberries from the bogs to load into trucks for shipment. According to Kevin Kemp, manager, the HW160A can pick up two to three boats without assistance from laborers — making quick work of harvesting.
