How to Create Custom Alerts Using StreamElements for Streamlabs or OBS

StreamElements is a fantastic platform to create unique alerts and is a great alternative to using the Streamlabs native widget.

Our main focus today will involve the Alerts & Overlays tab on the left. As you can see, StreamElements offers a gallery of free and paid options for your stream. Including Super Themes, Themes, Alerts, and Widgets.

Many of these packages include alerts, widgets, animated scene back grounds and panels to make your stream look slick and professional. Or just unique.

You’ll see the options change frequently throughout the year depending on the time of year or upcoming holiday. So if any of these tabs interest you, be sure to check back occasionally.

But today, we want to know how to create alerts from scratch and incorporate them into our current stream setup. Watch this video to see how you can create custom alerts and some of my tips and tricks to getting up and running fast!

StreamElements uses browser sources within your streaming software, meaning that StreamElements will work with OBS, Streamlabs OBS or any broadcasting software that supports a browser source.
