Here's the plot:
Kirk and Spock fall in love. Later in their relationship, Kirk realizes how much his boyfriend has been changing... on the other hand, Spock is well aware of the fact that the other stayed the same. They start having arguments and can't avoid a final choice. Actually, they break up and seem to move on.
As predicted, Spock becomes an important officer in Star Fleet, while Kirk refuses to get a better position so he doesn't have to give up on his love-life.
They keep avoiding one another, and seem to have forgotten the old days, until Kirk receives an unexpected call...
