Godkiller started in 1994 in Monte-Carlo (Monaco) as a one man Black Metal band.
Behind this project lies Duke Satanael, true name Benjamin Labarrère (Vocals, Guitar, Bass, Keyboards, Programming, Sampling).

"The Rebirth Of The Middle Ages" was recorded and mixed during the last days of the grim month of February anno 1996 at the Ancient Catacombs Studios.
