Forgotten Primus Stove USSR | Works Like 40 Years ago

This old primus is over 40 years old and I got it from my grandfather. Nevertheless, it is in excellent condition and will come in handy after a complete cleaning and polishing, because it is nice to use only clean things.

What did I do?

After disassembly, I used a sandblaster with quartz sand, since some parts are complex shapes that are hard to clean by hand.
Then I used a wire brush, a felt wheel with Goi paste, and two polishing wheels for final polishing with special pastes.
I also used a golden wire brush on the engraver for hard-to-reach places.
I used a chemical liquid polish on the bottom of the primus to remove dark spots.

I used medical alcohol to heat the tubes, it leaves no soot and burns quickly. Kerosene was used as the main fuel. It is also possible to use gasoline, but experience shows that it is better not necessary.
Kerosene leaves soot, but not so much.

Conclusion: I really liked this thing, and I will definitely keep it for a trip to the forest or fishing. One of the few things from the USSR that works great even after 40+ years
