Scotland's West Coast fishing village. Tarbert Loch Fyne. WOW, the scenery!!!

Welcome to Speedwell Travel aka The Central Belter. A lovely afternoon visit to Tarbert, Loch Fyne in Argyll on the west coast of Scotland. Tarbert is a traditional fishing village and very much still a working harbour. I take a drive through the village, stop off for a look at the wonderful colours of the fishing boats and then head up to Tarbert Castle built in the 13th Century. I finish my visit with a look at Tarbert Marina. The moorings are popular because they offer direct access to the village on foot. You can reach the village via bus which is the West Coast Motors service 926 from Buchanan Street Bus Station in Glasgow. You can also drive via the A82 up Loch Lomond and continue from Tarbet, Arrochar on the A83. It is also possible to take a Western Ferry service from Gourock, drive from Dunoon to Portavadie and then take the Calmac Ferry from Portavadie to Tarbert.
