Manisha | The Bhiwani Mystery | What Really Happened?

On 11 August 2025, 19-year-old teacher Manisha left school in Bhiwani to inquire about nursing college admissions. Two days later, her body was found in a field in Singhani village, with her throat slit. The police initially claimed suicide by poison, citing a purported note and forensic findings.

But the family, villagers, and public pressure rejected the suicide theory. They allege gross negligence, mishandling of evidence, delayed FIRs, missing CCTV footage and suppression of crucial clues.

The case has since evolved enormously, multiple postmortems, protests, political interventions and eventually a CBI takeover to ensure an impartial investigation.
