My first trip away camping with my two boys, and my first trip to Lakefield National Park. A friend from Cairns came along and bought his son as well.
I just bought a boat a couple of weeks ago, so it was a good opportunity to test it out.
Unfortunately the fishing was rubbish, a few other people up there who were regulars said they had never seen it so quiet. But the boys still had a great time.
It's a beautiful area, will definitely be back next year.
