Assembling the Marvelous Mrs Maisel Cocktail Dress

The pattern is based on a dress designed by Donna Zakowska, the Emmy Award winning Costume Designer of the television show The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel on Amazon Prime. The pattern was created by Eric Winterling, Inc, the costume shop that makes all of Midge Maisel's dresses from the show. This dress was worn by Rachel Brosnahan in Episode 1, Season 2. Donna chose to have the dress made from a beautiful red faille, but the cut is versatile and flattering in a wide range of fabrics.
