Welcome to Howick, an affluent suburb in East Auckland, New Zealand.
Howick is known for its village shopping area, eastern beaches as well as a market featuring artisan foods.
Howick Historical Village (not in this video) is also an Auckland landmark - a re-creation of a New Zealand colonial village using surviving buildings from the surrounding area. Despite its name, the Village is actually located in the suburb of Pakuranga.
Nearby suburbs are Eastern Beach, Mellons Bay, Half Moon Bay, Cockle Bay, Highland Park, Botany Downs and Shelly Park.
There is no train to Howick, however there are bus services.
This walk around Howick shops starts on Fencible Drive near Countdown Supermarket and heads up Picton Street.
