Here I review and demo the Kremona VV-3, and the Barcus-Berry 3100 violin pickups. Each comes with a quarter-inch jack, a key for attaching it to the body. The Kremona comes with long spacers for Violas, as well as four shims for fitting into larger bridge gaps.
Signal Chain is: Fender audio cable to LR Baggs Para-Acoustic pre-amp, into Universal Audio Arrow interface, Lightning Bolt into Mac Mini running Pro Tools.
I used minimal audio processing (none for the dry portions). Just some EQ (M-shaped, tapering off highs and lows, as well as some of the nasty mid-range), a little room reverb for some space, extra eq to brighten the sound, and studio chamber reverb.
Update 11-4-2020: The box now says KNA, and it is listed on the Electric Violin Shop as KNA brand. But the back of the box still refers to this as "Kremona."
