In this video we travel on the RPSI's Steam Enterprise from Belfast Central to Dublin Connolly on the 27/9/15 but this was a Steam Enterprise with a difference.
Due to work taking place in Connolly Yard loco No.85 Merlin would not be able to run south of Dundalk on this trip as the turntable would not be available in Connolly and there would be no felicitates available to water and service 85 this resulted in 85 being removed from the train at Dundalk and IE 071 Class loco number 075 hauling the train from Dundalk to Dublin and back.
After being removed from the train at Dundalk 85 would run LE to Great Victoria Street to be turned on the loop after being turned she would return to Dundalk to haul the train back to Belfast.
So sit back relax and enjoy this steam / diesel enterprise trip.
