I take a slow walk around Gili Meno, one of the quietest of the Gilis, looking at what life is really like there right now. I wander along empty paths, spend time on the beach, stop at a small local warung, chat with a few people and talk about the changes happening on the island, both good and not so good. It is a simple day with beautiful water, very few people and a pace of life that makes stress disappear surprisingly quickly. This is absolute paradise.
