Continuing on the sliding table saw bench project.. Here in part 2, I machine some bearing plates, weld up the chains for coordinating the slides, and build the second sliding component. Many different build processes and solid progress towards a new bench for the table saw.
Most of the effort goes into keeping things super flat, level, and square as the more precise this is, the more precise the saw will be when done.
Welcome to Outbuilding!
These videos chronicle projects both at home and at this coastal property. With several outbuildings and a coastal climate, there is no shortage of landscaping, timber, renovation, repair, and upkeep projects.
This is another addition to the workshop playlist as I continue on the sliding table saw workstation module for my work island. The table saw is the first module which will incorporate a sliding cross-cut sled on linear guides and drawer stacks suspended on these frames.
Thanks for sharing in the adventure.
Subscribers, ring the bell to be notified when new content is posted.
Until next time, I'll be out building.
