Do Babies Feel Pain The NICU Doc Answers

Have you wondered do babies feel pain? In my series, The NICU Doc Answers, I respond to a comment about pain management and sedation. This video will go over the use of opioids or narcotics (sometimes used interchangeably in other countries) like fentanyl and morphine as well as sedation medication like midazolam (versed) and lorazepam (ativan). Watch to the end because I will mention a more recently used medication, Precedex (Dexmedetomidine) and how it is unique.
