Fmr. Gov. Chris Sununu (R-NH) Discusses Trump's Tariffs and Global Reaction | Amanpour and Company

Markets keep swinging after the President Trump stepped back from his sweeping tariffs plan, while at the same time doubling down on China. Economists are urging Americans to realize that a serious tariff regime remains in place, and its impact may prove devastating. Democrats are angry about the damage being done to ordinary citizens and to the American brand. Even some Republicans are taking issue with the confusion emanating from the White House. Chris Sununu was the Republican Governor of New Hampshire. He was a backer of Nikki Haley but ultimately endorsed Donald Trump. Sununu has just ruled out a Senate run. He joins the program from New York.
