Folders and file explorer Opening too slow in Windows 10 & Windows 11? You can fix the issue by these four methods.
Method 1: Right click on Downloads folder - Properties - Advanced. Uncheck "Allow files in this folder to have contents indexed in addition to file properties. Click on OK and APPLY.
Method 2: Open Indexing Options. Click on Advanced. Click on Rebuild Index. it'll take some time to finish.
Method 3: Open File Explorer Options and clear File Explorer history. Switch to the View tab on the top and RESET folders.
Method 4: Right click on Windows Start Button - Run. Copy paste the following path.
%AppData%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\AutomaticDestinations
Click on OK to open the folder. Select all the files and delete them!
Restart your comptuer to apply the changes and feel the difference!
