General Work Visa: A new scorecard for the General Work Visa will be published by mid-October, aiming to standardise and expedite the application process. This follows input from several governmental bodies to enhance accessibility and efficiency.

Remote Worker Visa: Also known as the Digital Nomad Visa, this new category will allow remote workers to live in South Africa while working for an employer outside the country. Its implementation awaits tax amendments and will support flexible work arrangements.
