Platinum Preppy Eyedropper Conversion

This should be old hat to you fountain pen fanatics out there, but I thought for us newbies, I'd share how simple it is to convert an inexpensive fountain pen like the Platinum Preppy into an eyedropper filled pen. Fountain pens like the Preppy are a great way for newbies to dip their toes into the world of fountain pens, as they're inexpensive, easy to care for, and can be refillable. You have two options for refilling your Preppy- syringe ink into a cleaned out Platinum ink cartridge, or fill the entire barrel with ink!

Artists note: The Preppy shown here is a .03 mm nib- VERY fine for most artists. It writes a bit like a Hi-Tec C gel pen, and there's no flex in the nib. If you're looking for a refillable pen to replace your fineliners or gel pens, the Preppy may be an excellent choice, as you can fill it with whatever ink colors you desire, and the Preppy is cheap enough that you can experiment with liquid watercolors (seen an upcoming video for that demonstration).
