Introduction to Pigeon Body Language

In this video, Tallulah and I will show you how to understand pigeon body language. This is by no means a complete catalogue of pigeon body language, however I try to cover most of the common behaviours that I have managed to get footage of. I also aim to help you get into the headspace of paying attention to your birds movements in association with there surroundings so you can deduce what is being expressed from behaviours not featured and any individual quirks your may bird have. The primary goal is to foster communication between you and any pigeons you have.
Why pay attention to pigeons body language? It is a constant source of information on how your bird feels and what they are thinking, making it an invaluable tool in providing the best life you can, helping to build trust with new birds, and maintain a healthy relationship. When working with a new bird you won’t have to wonder if your going at there speed or pushing them to much, you can look at them and know.
