Die Chorsammlung Canta Brasil präsentiert brasilianische Volksmusik in einem neuen musikalischen Gewand und macht die vielfältige, mitreißende Folklore dieses Landes für Chöre und Vokalensembles zugänglich.
Brasilien hat einen großen Fundus an wunderschönen Wiegenliedern. Dieses Wiegenlied stammt aus Pará (Gebiet von Amazonien). Murucututu ist eine große tropische Eule aus dem Urwald, die jene Kinder, die nicht schlafen, gerne erschrecken möchte.
