This video shows how to read out pin number two of an IO-Link port in addition to the data of your connected IO-Link sensor in an EtherNet/IP network. This means that IO-Link data and an additional binary signal, such as from a limit switch or proximity sensor, can be read in via a so-called A-port of an IO-Link master.
Due to the many advantages of IO-Link sensors, the system is being used more and more in the industry.
Whether existing systems or new installations, IO-Link can be quickly and easily implemented in common bus systems.
